It rained last night. Local weather forecast calls for occasional shower all day today and tomorrow.
Still too early for remote control planes and helicopters, so I am thinking of vessels.
As a boy made several excursions powered vessels fishing, skiing, and leisure cruise. times gave me surfing experience on vessels ranging from 18-foot cabin cruise runabouts to. Both things always come to mind when I think back on eligible journeys: engine noise and exhaust emissions.
Couldn’t get away from them.
Once a group of friends, I rented a 42-foot sailing yacht, and made a trip to the Bahamas.Sailing does not produce exhaust, and the only noise (apart from the rush of water as slices through this) is the canvas like slapping wind full fills and pushes you along that sound of rushing water was new because the engines always drowned this about powerboats.
I found sailing so relaxing now when I think I am going to water with a model RC a sailing boat is normally at the top of the list.
Today is different, because I am thinking of doing some Racing. Rain dampens my desires for relaxation and that leaves only one urging for some action.
Before I can Race I need a Racecourse, so I’ll give you some thoughts on designing and building, one of them.
